KLIA Shopping Discover Malaysia 2004/5
The campaign will run for four months from November 1st 2004 to February 28th 2005 will welcome travelers and shoppers alike with a new look and feel to the airport with the introduction of fresh graphics, banners and bunting capturing the essence, beauty and the spirit of travel and discovery of some of the most awe inspiring places in Malaysia.

The theme 'Discover Malaysia' is extremely apt for the airport to endorse as KLIA has become one of the world's leading transport hubs through its vast air networks made possible by the 47 international airlines operating at the airport.

The 'Discover Malaysia' campaign launched on November 2nd 2004 was officiated by the Chairman of Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad, Y. Bhg Tan Sri Datuk Dr. Aris Othman. Soothing Nasyid performance was presented beautifully by Raihan and live ghazal music filled the hustle and bustle of the ongoing activities during the launch. Invited guests were greeted with an array of mouthwatering traditional Malay cuisine catered by The Pan Pacific KLIA for the breaking of the Ramadhan Fast. The highlight and main attraction of the entire campaign was the unveiling of eight 50 gram Gold Wafers, air tickets to various Malaysian destinations and the grand prize - the Mercedes Benz C180 Kompressor, generously sponsored by MasterCard.

The three contests that will run throughout the campaign are 'Shop, Click and Win', 'Shop and Unlock The Chest' and 'Mercedes Benz C180 K Grand Shopping Bonanza'

KLIA Shopping Campaign - "Festivals of Malaysia"
The KLIA Shopping Campaign is back! At a special "Berbuka Puasa" ceremony, Tuan Syed Salim, Head of the KLIA Shopping Steering Committee, launched this year's campaign, themed "Festivals of Malaysia". The campaign, is to be held from November 1st, 2003 to January 31st, 2004. It will transform KLIA into a shoppers' haven for travelers from all over the world.

"We have decided to theme this campaign Festival of Malaysia, as we would like passengers traveling through KLIA to have a real experience of Malaysia's rich multi-racial culture" said Tuan Syed.

"There will be month-long fun and entertaining activities leading up to each of the three festivals - Hari Raya Aidil Fitri, Christmas and Chinese New Year", added Tuan Syed.
