Shoppers Win Over RM30,000 Worth Of Prizes At Samsonite Roadshow

Celebrity emcee and international VJ, Paula Malai Ali walked home a bag richer after her recent visit to Samsonite's "Travel Made Easy" Road Show on Sunday 3rd April 2005. Paula, whose international fame has taken her all over the world, was presented with a beautiful Lacoste leather handbag, a gift from Samsonite's Country Manager for Malaysia, Mr. Desmond S. Nathan, to help her accessorize on her travels.

Former Miss Malaysia, Lina Teoh also graced the recent road show with her presence two days earlier, vowing the crowd with her charm and famous beauty. This event was certainly no April Fools.

Mr. Nathan presented Miss. Teoh with luxury Black Label bags worth over RM3,000 as a gesture of thanks for supporting Samsonite over the years.

Packed into the five days were colouring contests just for kids, a quiz with a traveling theme and the opportunity for anyone to show off their own modeling talent on the "Travel Made Easy" stage.

Bags of free Samsonite gifts were snatched up and over 30 lucky people who entered the contests won amounting to neatly RM20,000 putting the total prize value to over RM30,000, more than doubling the prize value from last year's road show at Mid Valley, Mega Mall.

American Tourister's mascot, the big friendly gorilla, also made an appearance wooing all the kids with thousands of bright red American Tourister balloons.

Samsonite, the internationally-renowned brand leader in luggage showcased its latest range of fashionable yet functional products on the second leg of its "Travel Made Easy" road show until April 3rd 2005 at One Utama Shopping Centre (New Wing).
